I allow 1-2 hours for family photoshoots, 2-3 hours for newborn photography, 1 hour for fresh 48 photoshoots and 1 hour for maternity photoshoots. I never rush you and understand that kids will be kids. If we need to, we take drink and snack breaks and I allow plenty of time for feeding and resettling babies. I always make sure that you walk away from the session with plenty of beautiful images.
Once you book I will send you a visual what to wear guide that helps to dress the whole family. I also have a range of dresses you can borrow in my ladies client wardrobe, at no extra cost! I bring with all the outfits, blankets and wraps for your baby. I work closely with each family to help style them to make sure they look and feel awesome for their photoshoot!
Each and every session is completely unique. When you book your session we will work together to choose a Sydney photoshoot location that suits your family from our beautiful list of locations in and around the Eastern Suburbs and Lower North Shore. From your local park, to a beach or even your home, we will make sure to organize the most incredible natural photoshoot doing what your family love. From beaches to parks I have the best locations to recomend for your photoshoot. Newborn Photoshoots are held in your home.
Yes! I have personally selected the best suppliers with the most beautiful quality and products in Sydney. I use amazing software that allows us to compare photographs, see what they will look like next to each other on a wall in real size and play around with composition of artwork. There is NO obligation to buy any artwork. HOWEVER, if you do decide to purchase a forever heirloom piece, I will guide you through the process. Artwork comes in all shapes and sizes and is all READY TO HANG ON YOUR WALL. It starts at $300 and for larger statement collections can range up to $3000. There is NO OBLIGATION to purchase artwork if you would prefer digital files.
Yes! Digital file packages start at $650.
Yes, I send you high res digital files. However, every photo lab uses different printers and from experience, the colours will come out differently (some more orange, some more blue or green) depending on which lab you use. I print your photographs at a professional lab that does not service the public. My editing software is calibrated with their printers which means that the colours are perfect. Not only this, the paper and printing quality is designed to last more than a lifetime without fading.
We will book your Design Consultation (this is where you get to see all your photographs for the first time) 2-3 weeks after your photoshoot. Before the Design Consultation I will also upload a sneak preview to social media (only if you would like me to of course). During the design consultation you will get to see all the best photographs from your photoshoot and decide what you would like to order.
After your photoshoot I go through all the photos and narrow it down to about 70-80 of the best photos. These are the photos that I edit for you. You will get to view these photos and select which photos you want to order.
YES! I am a natural newborn photographer. This means I wont twist your baby into any un-natural positions. My sessions are all about the quiet moments you experience with your baby. You will spend most of the session, cuddling, staring and smelling your baby and just taking in the moment. This is how I capture the love and connection you share. In order to capture natural photographs at your family portrait photoshoot we play games and have a lot of fun together. This helps to bring out your children’s personalities in an authentic way. I very rarely get you to look at the camera.
Yes yes yes! Speak to me about this when you are booking and I will tell you about the different options I can offer you.
